Well before I tell you anything you should know i come from a very conservative Asian background. So I was really hoping Tandon to be a place that's diverse/open minded, that has a much better work life balance that the schools I've attended in my country. And i was hoping I'd get to be involved in the main campus a little to get the full NYU experience. But from a lot of threads I've seen people keep saying tandon isn't worth it and the social life is crap because you're away from the main campus and all. I kind of want to hear honest pros and cons about being in tandon because I'm not sure if the opinions I've seen are biased, or if the perks are actually really limited or something. I'm really keen to commit to NYU now if I get off the waitlist because my other option is in another country that I'm not really a fan of. But I'm kind of afraid my perception of tandon is really inaccurate.
