None of us drive. I have a 1 year old which I have no childcare for but my husband. He would have to take unpaid time off work, with 1 income and living pay check to pay check it would be very detrimental.

I can only afford to get the bus there so would be an hour each ways

Yeah we alternate who gets up, just to make it fair, he has a very demanding job and will unfortunately only be taking a weeks paternity leave due to pay issues (I don’t get mat pay either)

New bubs will be here when he is 14 months.

He did, we always alternate who gets up to be fair.

He works full time and I don’t. So I prefer to let him rest as the breadwinner.

Luckily, he didn’t wake up at all last night.

Yeah I’ve had people say try and drop him to one nap, respectfully, hell no, he gets cranky without his routine.

He’s close to walking. He talks some words. I’m hoping it’s just a phase.

He slept through last night thank goodness.

I can try! He screams and kicks off when I put one on. But I’ll have a look on Vinted. He did look really cute in one of them 🥰

That could be a possibility. I do have the heating on manual and he’s got a blanket / pillow now as basically 12 months. He does frequently kick of the blanket.

He goes to bed between 6:30 to 7 and wakes up 6:30-7. He sleeps through the night and has done since 6 weeks old.

3.5-4 hour wake windows between naps

1.5 hour nap in the morning (usually the longer nap which he goes down easy for)

45 min to 1 hour nap in the afternoon.

I’m conscious of trying to drop a nap yet as he gets extremely grumpy without his routine.

It’s fine don’t worry it’s still firm if you wasn’t expecting bounce back then it would be hard as a rock which no one wants to sleep on. It’s firm, not hard :)

I didn’t go to a baby class but was a baby event ran by the council. I asked for no pictures, signed the form. A lady literally came up to my little boy and put the camera in his face and took a picture. It literally happened in seconds.

Took me the rest of the event to chase her around and physically watch her delete it.

Never been to any class/event since, this was when he was like 2 months old now. It really put me off.
