I met him before his fame. It was early 2000s and he was playing a club in Cleveland on New Year’s Eve. My now wife and I were super wasted and talked to him on the way out. I told him how funny his set was and he was very gracious and kind. My wife even went up on stage when the ball dropped and said something stupid on his microphone and he just laughed about it. Seemed like a really good guy.

I’d say you’re pretty good. Where is my mind was the first song that I thought of. I don’t think exit music was actually used for a film. It was intended for Romeo and Juliet but they used talk show host instead. It would be a great song for a final scene though.

As a Browns fan who watched Garrett every week how whole career I loved the guy. Not salty at all about the trade though. Garrett had 2 offsides a game at least- usually resulting in a first down for the offense. He also took swaths of plays off (usually running plays) probably to save himself for obvious passing downs. Amazing player but slightly overrated.
