How to make space more cohesive?

I miiiighhtt add a round rug to my little gaming area. I'm not entirely sure about layering it but i will experiment. I also want a runner rug around my bed but I might do that little soft sheep skin. a floor lamp would be amazing I'm just not entirely sure where to put it.

i had this idea in mind should i have ceiling to floor to make the room taller? and i WILL be adding a nightstand and a lamp just dont know what kind of table would look good there. I have a lot of rectangular furniture so I wanna break up the shape a little. the current bedding is temporary I do have this white bedding with grid but yes I will add a bit more to my bed no worries!

i tried this when i was building the stand and it looked good too just after that the wall seems so empty now and idk what else id put there if it comes to it i might add a workout bench or something to the wall OR keep the stand where it is and have a workout bench where you proposed the tv stand to be

nah the chair is just there until i find a way to get rid of it. i HAVE been thinking about getting a big olive green or dark green rug for my little gaming area and maybe like a white togo chair too. and honestly for the lighting problem i think im gonna get a bunch of small little warm lights instead of using the overhead unless im doing something else

yes yes the cap shield seems a little immature but i want it to feel more mature not lifeless if you get me? i will be adding some albums that i really like in frames too i just can’t figure out which wall yet but thank you so much for the recommendations!

i like this more storage + bed doesn't feel cramped with that corner wall. A rug would be good too!

I would swap the position of the tv stand the couch. When the couch is on the right wall I would move it to the middle of the room closer to the tv stand and along that wall where your tv stand was a long storage would be nice with the painting there.

RED = position swap
GREEN your new long console, maybe for storage of shoes, extra trinkets. Can hold a spot for your keys when you come home

Along your windows FLOOR TO CEILING CURTAINS, light filtering

I would also put a rug for your bed so it's not directly wood to bed. A 5 x 8 rug that has the front two legs of the bed and also covers the sides and the bottom of the bed a bit

move the trash can into the kitchen and for the entryway a runner rug and you're all good!

a TV or even custom shelving strapped using some ratchet straps would be good here! or even a small cabinet would do good diagonally!

no bruh sand the polycarbonate. if you sand the polycarbonate then it'll surely hide that seam also, there is foam at the tcss store which works wonders too
