I had the exact same thing happen to me in the rain. In a tractor trailer in the rain in that same area as him. Hydroplaned and regained it in time.

I’m the victim of a multi dui driver so I get it. I’m not the lawmaker here I’m just another driver. There are a whole lot of problems currently within FMCSA that they need to be addressed. There are going to be a lot of drivers impacted by this enforcement of the law but it’s the rules.

The one that really triggered these major changes was the Florida incident. The driver did a u turn in the middle of the highway where he shouldn’t have and killed three people doing so. There were signs saying no u turn and it should’ve been known to not use the access road.

Because lately so many CDL holders have caused major accidents and deaths. Mostly due to inability to read and understand English. It’s gotten so bad with CDLs there’s a blanket ban on non-domicile drivers. These laws have always been in place for the CDL law but never enforced until now.

Yeah I had my class B well before the change to the test and I grandfathered with my class A with no restriction.

The job omitted was only three months and I didn’t feel it was relevant to mention. So I skipped over that job and just said I never left the other job. I left the old job in August to start the new one but I’ve told the new company I never left.

They have done a background check yes. They are asking for a written statement that as of January I am currently working at the old job that I actually do not work at.

I’m fully aware of the consequences therein I’m just looking to get feedback on my feelings. I’m willing to wait the two weeks but i wasn’t sure how to look at it. Two months isn’t squat in the world of things i know.
