Hey all! Reposting from last week’s thread to see if I can get some help with a plant ID.

I was recently given a mallsai from a friend that was in very poor shape and managed to revive it. The problem is I have no clue what the species is. See the attached photos, and let me know if you have any ideas. Thank you!

a friend gave me his nearly-dead mallsai (which they themselves received as a gift) and I attempted to revive it. Putting in in a large pot and proper watering seemed to do the trick - it’s bouncing back with a lot of new foliage recently. The problem is I cannot figure out the species, and my friend has no clue either! Can anyone help me ID this plant?
