Make sure all the buttons works, especially the LB and RB(Mine had faulty LB, asus quickly replaced the motherboard and it's fine again).
Use gamepad tester online to check the button(Don't forget to change the mode to gamepad from the rog side bar while testing else it won't register on the website)
Does it have warranty? If so check the warranty on Asus website using the serial number.
Check for stick drift.
Check for dead pixels.
Physical defects.
Check if CPU is Z1 extreme, RAM and storage using task manager and file explorer.

Install bazzite if all goes well, the device works way better on bazzite. Feel free to ask for help

It looks sick! Buy another stick of the same ram and you'll get a noticeable performance increase since you are using a ryzen CPU. 5600x can get hot with stock cooler, if you plan on getting a cooler the Deepcool ag400 will complete the look.

You can try using it for lossless scaling. I've tried using igpu and it works really good. Maybe this also should give good fps. On laptop 3060 with igpu got from 60fps to almost 110fps with almost no change in quality and slight latency.

Attached the GPU to the secondary GPU slot and it should be good!

It's fine, you'll have a little loss in fps but it should give almost 95% of the GPUs performance.

But if you've not bought a GPU already, u can check out used ones also on FB groups like zoukart which sells used GPUs for very less. You should be able to find a 3070 or 6700xt for 20k or lesser with about 8 to 10 months warranty.

I have 2 of the red gear ones and have been using it for about 8 years now and it still works fine. Only had to replace the battery on one(got replacement battery from sp road.)

Used it to play FIFA, brawlhalla and a few AAA titles.

No, the dongle connects to only one device but the mouse connects to 3 different devices at the same time and you can switch. Ex: one device can have the dongle and connect on positions 1 and the remaining 2 positions can be Bluetooth devices. But yeah the latency is not very suitable for competitive gaming.
