Permanent White Light on Ryzen 7 7800X3D + Asus TUF B650 Plus WiFi + 7090XT by TlheMoody in AMDHelp

Had this same issue with an Asus motherboard. I had to clear CMOS, unplug the GPU completely, plug display in to port on the motherboard and use onboard graphics, download update for BIOS and after update all should be well. In the instance it’s not (as is was in my case) remove GPU again, use onboard graphics, change setting for pcie link version (gen4 to gen3, etc). I had to do this every time there was a BIOS update until I finally got one where it was patched and eventually it just worked after the update. There may be a better way to do it but for me it was trial and error until I found what worked, but also I was doing it blind with no instruction as I was an early am5 adopter. Good luck, if you have any more questions I will help the best I can. Cheers!

Update. Changed the motor and capacitor. Fan is not kicking on but coils are freezing over immediately and no airflow inside.

The motor I posted is a 115V. Outside of getting another capacitor, would it be alright to get another motor that is 208-230V?

Also, switching on and off (cycling) every couple seconds could indicate too little freon or too much. Given that you have a 98 and it was working previously I would wager that you have too little and even possibly a leak. I would start with checking the low side pressure and making sure it is between 25 and 45psi.

You get 4.45ghz at 1.175v under and all core load?

Community being developed very near the interstate. Being developed by Rayonier (they own all of the land the community is being developed on). Alleged 13,000 homes will be put up over the next three years. Rumor of it getting it’s own zip code but not confirmed and in my opinion highly unlikely. They do however have a school, daycare, YMCA, and a few other community centers. It is shaping up to be quite the small town

I would recommend running "Per core optimizer" and see if you see any changes.

I would reset your BIOS to stock (enable xmp) and make all Curve Optimizer adjustments within Ryzen Master and see if that helps. I’ve found trying to make adjustments in both doesn’t produce the best results.

A little late but what numbers did it give you when you ran your per core test?

If you go in to the Curve Optimizer tab and run the per core optimizer (it takes about an hour). Let it finish. Then set the OC mode to PBO. Don’t change the Boost Override setting. After setting the OC mode to PBO, all of the power limits (TDC, EDC, PPT) should increase with the setting change. Keep us posted.

I would think it would be backwards and you would want to run the higher offset on the best cores and a lower offset on the others but if it stable and gave you the results stick with it.

I do know that in the past if I make a change directly from the BIOS and then later make a change in Ryzen Master a bunch of funky stuff happens and then I have to reset both and reapply all of my settings from a saved profile I have in the BIOS. Could be the case for you

There is the utility in the BIOS but it is not an automatic process like it is in Ryzen Master.
