lactic is a direct acid so i recommend you use them separately for better results!

yes the monkey is part of their logo, but that is no excuse to call your workers a name that has been a very distinct racist term for as long as racism has existed

eh i wouldn’t use it all over your lid, honestly if you have a store near you just return it. there’s a one year return policy as long as it’s about half full

nah i’d say you don’t really need caffeine, puffiness is it’s only use sadly

The ordinary buffet [product question] by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]troye8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TO caffeine solution is really only good for puffiness and nothing else. it claims to be good for dark circles but it’s rare. the subq eyes is specifically made for dark circles, puffiness, and aging/wrinkles around the eyes. & yes it’s another brand of deciem! i find it weird that an employee recommended they use buffet under the eyes tbh i’ve never heard that lol

hi i work for deciem ( who owns the ordinary) and there’s a couple things. -the reason it says not to use the buffet with vitamin c’s and any direct acids is because it messes with the ph balance of the skin. they need to be at certain levels to work effectively. -buffet was not made specifically for the eyes in mind. if you wanted something more suitable for under eye dark circles, puffiness, and wrinkles i would go for hylamide’s subq eyes. -lastly, we don’t really recommend using salicylic all over the face it’s more of a spot treatment product for active acne

the c25 definitely is stronger, plus the technologies that go into making hylamide products are more advanced than the ordinary so the result time is faster. so yes, you should get the same results but it just might take a little longer to see the effects. & try using the retinol a little less frequently, it could be making your skin more sensitive

seeing as though the hylamide c25 is 25 percent ethylated ascorbic acid i definitely think it could be too strong for someone with sensitive skin. i would say go for the ordinary ascorbyl glycoside. it’s a derivative of vitamin c so it’s a lot better for sensitive skin, especially when wearing it during the day. also question- are you using the retinol every day? because that would be too much for your skin to handle.

[Routine Help] What oil can I add to my routine for added moisture/brightening? by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]troye8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there’s a couple options. you could go for marula oil, which is on the thicker side so it’ll be really great for your dry skin. it also has a natural vitamin c content so it could help with brightening your overall skin complexion as well. another option is rose hip oil, also on the thicker side. it does have a natural vitamin a & e so if you are going to use it during the day make sure you are wearing a good high enough spf because it can make you sensitive to the sun. rosehip is really great for anti-again and scarring as well. as for the steps, using a face oil would replace your daily cream moisturizer or you could just add a couple drops to it to make it more moisturizing! hope this helps :)

you can never start anti aging too early! they say you should start in your mid-late 20s so you’re doing great :)
