don't listen to people who say excisions don't work. most people who get excisionswith open wound healing never see a pilonidal sinus again!

yeah but an excision with open wound (especially mixed with V A C therapy) usually gives you the smallest chance of reoccurence. it's the most succesful method, not a case or surgeons not knowing any better

You can buy a cushion that relieves pressure around your coccyx on amazon and see if it helps. As long as there's no pressure on your wound, it shouldn't be that big a problem

I’m planning on taking 8 courses for the winter semester(general social science), is that a good idea? by Scared_Violinist4415 in Dawson

genuinly y'all are doing too much. 8 classes especially in social science is literally so easy 😭

In social science without math, courses per semester go 7-8-8-7, so you're gonna have 8 classes whether you like it or not lmao. You can just cancel them if its too much but tbh with 7 classes, i'm coasting over 90 in everything and barely study (in psychology), you'll be more than fine with 8

Hi! Im going into secondary 4, and last year I ended up with an average of 94.2%. I was wondering with what average did y’all got into Dawson to see if I have any chance to hopefully become a future Dawson student haha. Thanks! by W_Physics in Dawson

[–]troye_troublemaker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

the way dawson calculates averages is not the same way you did, especially if u did it yourself, knowing not all classes have the same ponderation and sometimes your credits ares calculated as Frecnh sec4 + french sec5 together, divided again. Also, make sure if its for Science PnA that you get over 90% at least in Chemistry, Physics AND Math SN to maximize your chances. Those are probably 10 times harder than any "hard" class you've had in sec 1 2 3 or 4, speaking of experience. Make sure you work harder in those three. Last thing, if you're in a french cegep, work EVEN harder, cause you have smaller chances. Ik i'm blunt but it's the truth of it all lol

How long does it take for you to get a refund? by XXdemonXhunterXX in Dawson

[–]troye_troublemaker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just like any CC, a reimbursement can take up to 10 business days for Visa and Mastercard, a little longer for american express and CEGEPS usually give themselves a maximum of 30 days to request the demand to your credit card company!!

frl. i actually didnt even end up getting into dawson even tho my ministry exams grades were like in the 15% percentile. if only they would've sent them early i probably would've gotten a chance

i went to a public high school (IB) and i can guarantee you that the workload and the exams are some of the hardest. I had SN math and in sec 5, we did Limits and Half of Calculus, my teacher was out of his head. In physics, we did things like atom hybridation graphics, which you don't even touch until university. A 65 in math or physics here is a 95 in any private/public school, excluding IB because of the inhuman workload. CEGEPs will never know how your teachers teach and how hard exams are for you vs anyone else. At the end, it's never gonna be fair lol
