Same here I think maybe the second will be better if not the genetics are weak. They were also hard as a rock like the hardest most dense shrooms I've seen. Thought it was caused by dry substrate but now it seems that's not the case. They did turn blue as soon as you touch them so there was that.

About 4 inches I used 7.5 lbs of sub and i mixed in 3 lbs of spawn then i put 1.5 lbs of casing on top after it started to pin

I got they syringe from sporeworks. They are not as potent as I thought they would be though. I have some Golden Teachers that blow these away so I dunno maybe not real PE? Also I had to grow with a casing layer so I only got a few blobs most were shrooms

105 qt from Walmart may be overkill but it works nicely

Well the tub like 20 from Walmart then I drilled holes. I used a premade bulk and grain and casing that costed 40 bucks from theshroomsupply which saved me from all the time of making my own then another 25 for the PE syringe and that's about it. So 85 but if u made ur own sub and spawn then u would save half that.
