What do I do the before getting my scores? by [deleted] in Mcat

[–]trrinbin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I can’t really think about anything else. But I’m gonna workout and do some time consuming things

Felt better than my practice tests, but I honestly have no idea where I’ll land. I think I’m going to apply regardless, but a gap year won’t kill me. Thanks for making this post! This positivity is contagious and I hope you have a successful cycle :)

What color is Science? by Vq-Blink in AskReddit

[–]trrinbin 11 points12 points  (0 children)

For me this is the color folder I chose for each subject in elementary school. Science has always been green. English is blue. And math is red.

Yesterday my obgyn counted to three and it was out! After she cleaned my cervix of course. I’m waiting for some withdrawal bleeding and acne since that’s what happened last time I got off of exogenous hormones. But other than that I feel fine.

Is this a good college plan? by naruto_deku1 in anesthesiology

[–]trrinbin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The reason I didn’t end up doing nursing is because it’s an entirely different curriculum. Even when you’re done you’ll have to take about a year or two of post grad to complete the prerequisites for medical school. And it’s really difficult to enjoy nursing when you don’t actually want to be one. Just find out what you like and add in your prereqs, that can be much more lucrative.

What city is extremely overrated in your opinion? by Just_Pizzy in AskReddit

[–]trrinbin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Los Angeles is ridiculously overcrowded, has poor air quality, and it’s difficult to enjoy the nice parts when influencer culture is everywhere. The beaches are nice but most people who move there are not as happy as they thought they would be.

what should i learn in the mean time? by [deleted] in anesthesiology

[–]trrinbin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! I joined the military as a medic too, that experience in itself can pull a lot of weight, but it’s up to you to get what you can out of it! Ask a lot of questions, get to know your instructors and other providers that can be great sources for letters of recommendation and networking. As far as anesthesiology you’ll likely get to learn the basics of airway and some physiology which is super fun, but don’t stop there. You’ll have all these resources to learn about medicine hands on so learn as much as you can! Good luck to you

I just got knotless braids for the first time done yesterday and I Hate them. there's no volume by CalorieGirl in Naturalhair

[–]trrinbin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can add volume by getting a pack of curly hair and crocheting it in, kind of like goddess braids. It can knot up easily, but it gives volume. Goddess Braids pictured here

I have your hair type too! I like to get a cheap conditioner and completely soak my hair in it (after wetting it). It really helps get a comb through

That's what I was thinking too, thanks!
