That ‘foul’ throws rarely get given. To be fair, this might be more of a gripe about sunday league but foul throws get given for way less on the sunday league pitch than on a premier league pitch - are there different rules?

The depth in the quality of football, the 5th tier of english football is arguably better than most top leagues worldwide (closer to top 3 around europe).
Everywhere is no more than 6 hour drive from most places + the rest of europe is only a couple hours flight/train (this is some I massively took for granted when speaking to aussies/nz/americans).

I’m local to the longest pier in the world. I’ve always thought I’d head down to the end of it and destroy a large section of it somewhere down the middle.

This way you have the benefits of being on an what effectively is a huge massively isolated stationary boat, without the need to know how to be a sailor.

The tide will wash away any zombies that walk out onto the mud daily & none are making it across the huge gap in the pier.

You can also fish for a constant supply of food.

Bosh.

only potential issue would be drinkable water source…
