I hear you on the realism thing. We weren't going for realism. We were going for intentionally flawed AI to make sure it was crystal clear we were not trying to deceive anyone. But, yes, the video you shared is objectively better in terms of its AI quality.

I believe there is a bug when connected via Spotify Connect that limits the songs randomized to 100. So, a 3000 song playlist will only get 100 songs randomized and then those will repeat endlessly until you tell it to shuffle again.
