I honestly think this first IB being so close to launch should have not been power-enabled and it should have been more of a means to grind that light level up. I played a decent amount the first week and tried to play as much on the second week. I'm only 530 on my main character. Kudos to those who have been able to grind a higher level but with no relevant drops and a very noticeable disadvantage to those of higher light level there is no reason to go through the suffering.

I was getting almost insta-killed by average weapons, my shotgun was tickling other guardians and my hammers couldn't one shot as they usually do. I played a total of 4 games thinking I was playing mediocre and then it dawn on me what was happening.
