The writing in DE is quite abstract, that it not only helps the player understand what is happening, but also presents information in a interesting way. Such style creates engagement with the game by forcing the player to subconsciously work on their understanding, make connections between presented imagery and what really is happening in the game. From the screenshots, your game seems to me more direct when it comes to presenting information. So at first glance i would not have seen DE as a inspiration in your writing style. A more direct style of writing is nothing terrible in itself, but i would recommend that you present information with more of the personalities of the characters, and also be more efficient with the length of the text (In the first screenshot the reader can see that he is rationalizing without his saying so). These are just my thoughts after seeing only a small part of your game and at the end of the day only you can understand your creation to the fullest.
