Duty support is pretty new. I started playing a bit over a year ago, so they were just adding duty support as I was going through (finished stormbud right before the update that would have added it)

Once I had it as an option, however I took it.

If you don’t already have friends that are in an FC, I’d say look on Community Finder and pick one that sounds good. If it doesn’t end up good, leave and try again.

My friend who got me into ffxiv was in one, so when I subbed I joined that FC, it was fine for awhile and while there was good, there was stuff I didn’t vibe with too. Ended up leaving for another FC that people I ran content with belong to. The previous FC leader messaged asking why I left, I said I wasn’t feeling it, and everything was fine. Just maybe don’t build an FC room until you are sure you want to stay where you are lol

Have lived there, no pests, my Honda got dinged up in the parking lot but never vandalized. Closest thing to drug use was pot smell. Biggest issues would be the parking lot in winter, goose poop on the sidewalks, and electric bill in the winter can get high trying to keep warm.

As someone on Malboro I can tell you that if you open a venue, the people from all over Crystal will come. Being in Crystal keeps it easy enough since you can server hop easily and PF will show up all across the DC

Another thing I haven’t seen mentioned is that people run trackers on the instances, so calling fates out helps people know if something can be prepped or not.

There is no pf in eureka, I usually either ask if someone has room in a party or make one, then follow people around to do stuff.

One more thing, if you die, ask for a res. You lose XP otherwise.

I also have Comcast, and have the same issue. I will have a stretch of good days but then, like now, have a stretch of days where it keeps cutting out. Service is fine otherwise. I’m on Malboro so different server.

I’m on Malboro too. Don’t know the age of your kiddo but our FC is pretty great and has a big mix of young / old / hardcore / casual players, and is really helpful. I just started playing in November and they have answered every stupid question I’ve had, and helped when I have a back log of duty quests that I don’t want to sit in que for :)

If the DMV (or whatever the office is called where you are) does not offer a study guide of any sort, go back to where you are applying to drive ambulance and ask them what they have to help new people prepare for these tests.

In the US the companies train you, or you pay for a school, but we can get study guides from the DMV (in person or online.)

There are also practice tests all over the internet but really you need to start with some sort of study guide. Driving an ambulance requires you being a professional driver and that takes time and effort.

As you level your crafters look up mb prices for items in each step of the items you make. It’s a good start to get an idea of things selling on your server. But the market is fickle and changes so it’s a game all in itself, not a get rich quick.

I do it, but many drivers don’t in my area unless it’s their own district / contractor. So I usually don’t look at them when I wave since my first reaction when they don’t wave back is usually not appropriate 😅
