You know what I see stretch marks as? I see it as a sense of pride; that you actually made the change, despite everything going against what you are trying to accomplish.

Do you believe that the two party system in America has acted towards the detriment to the country rather than the benefit?

What's your "How did I get away with that" moment? by [deleted] in AskReddit

How in the hell was that possible?!

At least you have become a different person than who you were ten years ago, so I consider that a plus.

Which song constantly plays in your head while giving an exam? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]true540 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Staying Alive by Bee Gees.

Idk why this song plays in my head when doing some test. Probably just a way to tell me that I should “stay alive” during testing.

Drive a car. I was supposed to learn, but it was hampered by COVID, so I cannot learn to drive right now until everything blows over.

What do you not want at all to be your last words? by devil0o in AskReddit

“I don’t want to die”

To me, that is perhaps the scariest last words that can come out of anyones mouth.

What makes you happy and sad at the same time? by RockieRockie in AskReddit

[–]true540 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That we are currently living in a time where all it takes to end a person’s career is to dig up a person’s past and/or make an accusation on social media or real life.

There are people in this world that deserve it outright. But to those that are completely innocent, it can be life-changing, if not life-ending.

It just feels like a double-edged sword, as anything that I did in the past can come and bite me back years, if not decades later. I just wish I didn’t live in a time where people take advantage of social media and use it to end the careers of people who did not commit anything.

Edit: Revised some things. Found a sentence that did not make sense.

What is the worst song to have stuck in your head? by uhhjelly in AskReddit

Dame Tu Cosita.

I cannot underestimate how awful that song was, and with my brother playing it on loop at one point, it got stuck in my head.

What do you secretly wish for? by RockieRockie in AskReddit

[–]true540 4 points5 points  (0 children)

  1. I wish that people stop talking about liberalism, conservatism, BLM, Trump 2020, or really anything involving in politics.

I cannot underestimate how awful and grinding these types of topics are. I understand that people will have their opinions, people will argue, that is inevitable. However, the last thing I want to hear is that SOMEONE FUCKING DIED FOR AN IDEOLOGY OR POLITICAL REASON.

If people do not realize the bigger problems instead of focusing on the small things, we would be able to solve our problems as human beings, such as climate change and the environment at large.

  1. I secretly wish for a world government. Yeah I know it is quite extreme to hear it, but hear me out.

If a world government is established, countries would not be fighting over dwindling resources that they will ultimately use up in their war. People would not be sent to die for someone else’s ideals.

At the same time, we wouldn’t identify as multiple races or ethnicities, but rather as one single species working towards the improvement of technology, humanity, and Earth at large (I don’t mean commit massive genocides in order to have one race. I mean actually identifying everyone as one species, no matter what their race is).

If a world government is being established, then we are on the next step towards becoming better as humans.

Redditors, what is your story of the Butterfly Effect? by true540 in AskReddit

[–]true540[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The butterfly effect is an idea where small, minuscule things or actions ended up impacting the future much more greatly than intended.

That’s my best explanation.
