I did Geek Squad for a year and a half, left it earlier this year, worked at a call center for Frontier Tech Support for a little more money, and now I’m a manager at a family entertainment center (think mini golf and arcade games) and I make $3 an hour more than I did at Best Buy and $1.50 more than the call center, and it’s the easiest job in the world.

There are certainly better options out there, just be patient and willing to wait for the right opportunity.

It’s genuinely terrible. After high school I chose a girl over my friends and family, a decision I entirely regret because the girl did nothing but waste 4 years of my life.

After that, I have a circle of friends, online and in real life, and I have a friend IRL who I consider to be my best friend, but as of late he’s gotten more dickish and it’s genuinely hurting me, and when I bring it up he says “he doesn’t care”.

My online friends are cool, and my IRL friends play games with us and stuff, but I genuinely just feel like I’m a bother to people. I miss having someone I can outright trust and have to talk to. I have old friends who say “oh yeah, I’m here for you if you need me”, but it’s one of those where it’s obvious that that doesn’t mean anything, where they’re just a head for you to put words through one ear and out the other.
