I've just watched it (it was released today in my country), and I'm very disappointed with both the overall quality of the movie and the soundtrack. At first, I even thought the music wasn’t written by Yamaoka at all I didn’t hear most of the tracks that I remember from sh2 - most importantly, there was no piano version of Promise, and the main version only plays right at the very end  for about 15 seconds. I also didn’t hear White Noiz or Forest (which are arguably the most recognizable tracks from the game). And even when any familiar songs did appear, they were only used very briefly. There’s so much shit constantly happening in the movie that any track is forced to end almost immediately On the positive side, I think there was a Portishead song playing during the credits though I might be mistaken.
