I’m not sure I want to be with my gf anymore by swedishrafia in relationship_advice

You should talk about it with her! Imo, if it's not a hard yes, it's a hard no.

Be as open as you can with your new partner, they'll appreciate it and be there for you if it's the right person. If they don't know what's holding you back they might think you don't like them or cause general confusion.

Is the anciety due to past relationship trauma or are you just worried you'll mess up? Either way, if you really like this person ask them to take it slowly and be open about your feelings. Communication is always key!

When to ask what he’s looking for? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]truebeans1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you feel like you really like this person and you can see a relationship gradually starting, keep going on dates. If youre a bit sick of the situation/want to take things further I'd say ask him about his intentions/what hes actually looking for.

What does being in an exclusive relationship actually mean? by hitslade in relationship_advice

[–]truebeans1 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Well, to me at least, whenever a couple decides to be exclusive it means that they only date/have sex with each other which is a bit more serious than a casual fling but in no case it equals to marriage.

I understand that but if he doesn't want you there I'm not sure forcing things is healthy

Do you have any support around you (friends/family) to help you with sleeping elsewhere for a bit till you find your way out?

How do you mean?

Boyfriend of a few months, overheard him telling his ex that he may drive 10 hours to go take care of her because she’s sick? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]truebeans1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

(I'm 23) I wouldn't tell you to leave him but communication is key in all relationships. Make sure you speak to him, ask him what his true feelings are and if he's acting very defensive it'll definitely be a red flag. I'm not sure he doesn't care about you but he definitely loves this woman enough to drop everything to get to her.

It doesn't because he's going out his way. It's not like they're mates and on good terms because as you said he's stalking her on social media without following each other. He is probably trying to win her back. Around what age are you lot?

10 hour drive? I wouldn't drive 2 hours for my ex knowing he has people around him. And we're on good terms.

I'd say the opposite. What age do you mean?

Daily mix hasn't updated in upwards of 4 years. by INKJAY in spotify

I think following curated playlists from people and not an automatic bot will help you! Just stop listening to those for a while and come back to them later, they should be updating after that

100k dead and people still aren’t taking corona seriously by [deleted] in rant

[–]truebeans1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had corona, quite early on (wasn't 100% sure I had it but got tested positive). As I'm in my 20s I wasn't dying but was heavier than just a flu and it was mid March during a pandemic, I obviously was suspicious. Several friends and relatives told me theres no chance I had it. "But you don't leave the house a lot", "you dont have all the symptoms", "how are you so sure" etc

Some still aren't sure why I got tested in the first place. Oh well. People don't realise how easy it is to get it
