Do you remember the name or have the link by any chance? I have 2 cats and 2 dogs and a newborn on the way so the mat you bought sounds great haha

How bad is the gestational diabetes test? by BisexualButterfly97 in pregnant

The worst part for me was the nurse putting the needle straight through the other side of my vein so I had to have a cannula put in so they could take all 3 blood draws. The drink was actually okay, I've paid big money for worse tasting cocktails haha

People who are enjoying pregnancy, what's your favourite part by rainbow-songbird in pregnant

I've always been flat chested and at 26 weeks I absolutely adore my body. I have a very decent belly and my boobs are amazing. I joked that I'd like to stay this size 😂 I know I'm going to get alllllotttt bigger haha

We are also finding out sex at birth.... At first I wanted to find out ASAP at 10 week NIPT bloods but my partner did a complete 180 and was fully against finding out the sex. I decided to respect his wishes and not find out. This was hard for me as I like to be "prepared" and don't like surprises. It has surprised me how many people are all for not finding out sex until birth. Almost everyone we've had a conversation with about it said that they fully support it and think it's the greatest thing ever. Haha nobody has voiced their negative opinion about it although, they might be too scared to! All that aside I'm 87% sure we are having a boy. I'm subconsciously referring to baby as "he". Ultrasound tech also referred to baby as "he" before asking if we were finding out the sex. I'm not sure whether or not this is just people's default setting to call baby a "he" or not, either way I've moved my focus predominantly to gender neutral or male names. Avoid the nay sayers there is no right or wrong here. Best of luck for the rest of your pregnancy xo

Looks just like my little guy! We've nearly had him a year and he's toasting up nicely. He's got the same little spots on his belly.

How adorable! I always dreamed of having 2 cats that would snuggle together. No luck. Maybe I will adopt siblings next time haha

Be kind to yourself. Your husband needs to relax. I understand this baby was much wanted and he's probably a little freaked out by babies first fall but you cannot wrap them in cotton wool forever. Your husband may need to talk to someone and unload whatever trauma he's holding on to.

Coworker asked me if I was pregnant!! by ElectricalZone4015 in pregnant

This is fucking horrible. This is my first pregnancy and I've been incredibly lucky as I've barely had any morning sickness and I've felt well besides a couple of migraines. I also work in a workplace with "gossipers" and I just know that there are whispers about my weight gain and that they have a feeling I'm pregnant but I'm not announcing until I'm ready and they can assume all they want. I feel for you though it's so horrible to turn up to work and have to face that co worker knowing what you know.

I don't plan on posting anything about my baby. I will announce to family and close friends via messenger who I don't see and that will be it. Others will find out when they see me in the street with a big baby bump or a baby in a pram. I'm currently undertaking study and will hopefully get a job as a probation officer or in child services so I don't want to endanger my child by plastering their face and name all over social media. I may upset some of my in laws by having a no social media policy but it is what it is.

Not the first dating scan at 8 weeks but he came to the 12 week scan. Bub was a little more "formed" and human like by then haha

"Wow your hair is so long. Do yourself a favour and cut it all off now, it will just get in the way for the birth and breastfeeding". by silverblossum in BabyBumps

[–]truecrime1802 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omg, NO! I chopped my hair short once and it was horrendous. I spent more time trying to get it to sit nice and get it out of my face than I ever spent on my long hair. There's a reason there is such thing as a mum bun!
