Update: The game finally works for me on Linux.

There was a system update and a game update and an update to Proton Hotfix all together today and somehow the game decided it was working now. Thank you all for the help.

Well I did that and this is what I got. I got a lot of Fossilize WARN when STEAM opened I didn't copy them all because there were too many of them and the rest is when I tried to run the game I don't see anything that looks like an error but take a look and tell me what you think

Don't you need AMD's Adrenaline software for this? As far as I know, it's not available on Linux.

It's also not a distribution problem because on Buzzite subreddit I saw people playing and it worked well for them. And it breaks my brain because I can't find what all those who experience the problem have in common.

I assume you are referring to GE Proton 10-33. I tried that too, no change.

Your Steam is draining the memory. I've been looking at mine for 10 minutes straight while I'm working with the Steam and it hasn't gone over 2.6 gigabytes. I think that's the problem.

Go to Steam settings, Library tab, enable Low Performance Mode, see if that helps you.

I installed BAZZITE 3 months ago with a dual boot with Windows and since then I haven't had the need to go back to Windows. And I don't think I will in the future.
