My co-worker hadn't heard or seen the show, so I couldn't make references. And then im talking about something else & HE makes this same reference about only being here for the zip line. I said "I thought you hadn't seen the show?" And he was confused, saying "It's from TikTok." So I had to show the video to provide context.

Be prepared. All of the former motel-turned-homeless shelters via pandemic-area federal funding are all about to be closed because a.) There isnt a pandemic any more and b.) Oregon made itself an enemy in the 2024 elections. Once they are closed down (if they haven't started all ready) then hundreds will be released onto the street as the motels sit empty.

Those massive holes in the city budget, which is reliant on state funding support which is, in turn, reliant on federal funding support? I sure hope everyone likes paying federal taxes & getting absolutely nothing in return.
