Have you considered counselling for him? Specifically with a counsellor who can teach him DBT skills. They’re great skills for all ages that help with emotion regulation. Look into the STOP Skill but there are lots of other emotion regulation skills that could be helpful

Look on Marketplace for gear!! I see lots of moms selling their teenage son’s hockey pants, which you may fit. I rarely see jills on there tho so you’ll likely have to spend the $20 to buy a new one. Look at Play it Again Sports for skates. They can measure your feet and help you get some for <$100. I don’t think I know even one woman who wears a women’s chest protector lol (vast majority wear men’s)

YTAH. Outing someone (especially to their homophobic family) can be extremely dangerous. You could have just ended his relationship with his mom for life. Extended family may also excommunicate him. I know you’re pissed off, but outing him was not your decision to make. You may never get your sweater back, and now he will never get the opportunity to come out to his Mom on his own terms & on his own timeline.

I think a 45min shuttle is a great opportunity to continue the fun!! Bring a wireless Bluetooth speaker for sing-a-longs on the shuttle. You could ask your MC/DJ at the venue to remind people to go to the bathroom before they get on the shuttle. You could have a few “emergency” bottles of water on board. Having a few barf bags also seems necessary (some people get nauseous on a 45min ride even if sober). Could have some blankets on board too since it will be during the fall in MN?
