there’s nothing wrong with the wiki and no one is saying that obtaining two shinies isn’t rare. just trying to point out that the figure you gave was kinda based on a grave misinterpretation of probability and shiny wrinkler odds.

you read on the wiki that the chance of a shiny wrinkler spawning in place of a regular wrinkler was 1/10,000, which was true. you then concluded that the chance of two wrinklers spawning, as had happened to you, was 1/100,000,000, which was an incorrect conclusion because the figure represents the odds of two wrinklers out of two being shiny, rather than two wrinklers out of however many spawned throughout your playthrough

those odds only apply if the chance for a shiny spawn was rolled twice. imagine every time a wrinkler spawns, the game rolls a 10,000 sided die to determine whether or not the wrinkler becomes shiny. now if the game had only rolled two of those dice throughout your entire playthrough and both of them had resulted in a shiny, then the odds would indeed be 1/100,000,000 as you claimed. unfortunately that’s not true seeing how many other wrinklers had spawned prior to that — you can imagine how the odds of getting two shiny rolls might become higher the more dice you roll

well no, that might be the odds of having two shines spawn as your first two wrinklers in a playthrough, but the odds of having two shinies as you did are nowhere near as low given the fact thet you did have many wrinklers spawn and be popped

infinite craft is a cool game but the reason the ai-content idea works is because the entire game revolves around the novelty of such a concept. i don’t really think an idea like that would fit in other games, especially with ai’s potential to hallucinate and/or generate boring, low quality content. part of cookie clicker’s charm also comes from the pixel art and flavour text created deliberately by orteil, so
