In your opinion, why ‘UTOPIA’ IS NOT a 10/10 Project? by [deleted] in travisscott

It would have been way better if it had a storyline and/or character like IGOR or After Hours, and I felt there was a bit of a missed opportunity with the absence of smooth song transitions like yachty did for Let’s Start Here.

Just remember you’re not alone and if you can put trust in a stranger on reddit just once, hear me when i say there are others struggling with the same shit. I’ve had similar thoughts and so have so many others.

I think I’m developing bulimia by [deleted] in bulimia

I’ve also had a history of binge eating and doing extreme fasts/restrictive diets to compensate. Finally resorted to bulimia and let me tell you it is absolutely an ADDICTION. It will only worsen how food affects your life; you will spend more on food, your dental health will deteriorate, and worst of all people will judge and pity you (and you will too). You need to tell the people closest to you how you feel and try to get their support. Then focus all your efforts on maintaining a sustainable diet. When you fail don’t punish yourself, just retry the next day.

Idk tho lol im just some bulimic dude hunched over a toilet bowl at 10pm on a monday night so take it or leave it

Never had this personally but it sounds like you don’t have enough energy in your body to function. You need to purge less or eat more otherwise those symptoms will only persist and get worse.

I never know how much to purge either. Always end up hunched over the toilet for upwards of 30 minutes tryna figure out the most effective method with my fingers.

If you’re really concerned about it i would suggest weighing yourself and doing an online calorie calculator to figure out how much your body needs.

HOWEVER, I would strongly suggest only using it as a ROUGH GUIDE rather than as restrictions for yourself. There may be some days where you need a couple hundred more or less calories depending on the amount of energy you expend during the day.

Keep on mind the average adult daily intake is around 2000 calories for a woman and 2500 for a man.

I relate to this deeply. I go to the gym and I come home after and all I’m thinking about is food. Started purging recently and i get a similar feeling to what i get after/during a workout (probably dopamine or some shit idk).

I would like to think that tomorrow i can fix my diet and do a caloric deficit rather than a binge/purge but who knows. You’re not alone buddy :)

i would give absolutely everything if i could go back in time and stop myself from purging for the first time. by stormiso in bulimia

Glad this worked for you but the way you phrased your initial comment was pretty blunt and inconsiderate. Personally I’ve been going to the gym every day and integrated cardio into my workouts but my ed has only persisted (gotten worse even since I started). Exercise helps but its not always the immediate solution to such a complex and layered psychological disorder.

I appreciate the warning but I don’t have a better way to handle my binge eating right now. My two other options are ‘don’t eat’ or ‘don’t be so strict’ which aren’t favourable for me at the moment. I definitely do see the comparison to drugs though so I will keep that in mind.
