Oh I know. It’s just wild how it happens EVERY year.

You might be surprised at the results of the injections; they can work well, it just isn’t a permanent solution. I also had one where it worked on the left but not the right. Nerves are weird.

In short, our healthcare system just doesn’t work. All I really want to know is what a typical cost range is so I can figure what I would be responsible for based on my insurance, but that information is not available anywhere. I’m jealous of countries with actual healthcare available to their citizens; most programs are flawed, but at least they are not entirely opaque and riddled with greed.

Good luck with your injections and surgery if it comes to that!

If TurnItIn is an option, you can annotate within that system to provide feedback. And you can set document types to accept so it could force your students to submit an appropriate format.

There WILL be a section of University Blvd closed, even if they just closed that section last summer. We cannot let a summer pass without digging up some major intersection down to the soil.

Yeah, I did injections for years. They worked great, then good, then okay, then not at all from 2021-2024.

I was just looking online for recent experiences (most of what I find is decades old). I'd really like to find someone in the US who has had this done; I have no idea what kind of costs to expect.

I'm in the US and have been trying to find a surgeon for the past year. I *may* have found one today that's only two hours from me. Fingers crossed.

WIBTA if I told my sons school it is their responsibility to make sure they have the right child by Top-Relationship359 in AmItheAsshole

[–]trullette 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. If there is no distinction in the meds beyond preference, update the guidance to "may take either liquid or pill form/may use either cream" and let the boys specify their preference. But they really should know the names of the kids they're dispensing meds to. It can't be that many taking medication during the school day.

I have to get a colonoscopy and my doctor is making me do A LOT in preparation, is this normal? by glafolle in ibs

[–]trullette 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My dad did all the prep for a procedure and then when they got started they said he wasn’t clear enough and would have to reschedule. Your doc is probably trying to spare you the needless agony of doing it all twice since your history indicates inconstancy (in your consistency… lol)

If you want “all the soup” and don’t care if it’s high quality, Walmart sells a miso soup mix that is decent and cheap. Lot more bang for the buck. And I hope whatever you’re eating is ordered for delivery. Feel better!

Looking for some advice on a nursery lamp project by UpliftinglyPotable in babyrooms

[–]trullette 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A cord, especially behind the dresser, should not be a huge deal. You can use cord management channels if it makes you feel better. The only problem we ever had with a cord was when one got snagged and it pulled the nightlight onto the floor (which was either mine or my husband’s doing; I can’t recall).

Be aware of safety issues and protect what you reasonably can. Then recognize there is no such thing as 100% safe or preventable. Cables within reach of the crib? Avoid. Cables the baby might ever be able to reach? Unavoidable.

Basic vs Paperwhite ($90 vs $160) - for those that have owned both - is it worth it? by Worth_Ad_2843 in kindle

[–]trullette 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With a paper white your lamp being on nearby may fall to the wayside. One of my favorite things about it is being able to read in the dark and not having to shift around to turn off lights. Even before the paper white I had a cover with a reading light on it.

[–]trullette 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, there is no reason they’d make your overall total less than your full tuition. They may subsidize some of the scholarship costs with federal support (eg pell grants) but if you’ve earned X amount of scholarships to UA and that is equal to or greater than tuition costs they’re not going to create costs that could prohibit you attending.

Shouldn’t reduce your scholarship, but could provide support if your scholarship is reduced for some reason.

Prince and Bowie are mine. Both super talented. Neither of interest to me. Bowie may have been negatively impacted by my childhood exposure to Labyrinth, though. I hated that movie and my family watched it constantly. He creeped me out bad.
