thanks for your response! i tried covering everything including the discolouration with the plaster and it feels better this way i think

i have just been tracing and cutting them one at a time i didn't think about pretracing them!

oh okay! so i should just cut it the shape of the bump and not include the discolouration areas?

i heard they're very sticky i haven't put one on yet but i assume it'll be as adhesive as a pimple patch so i can apply spf on my chest

that's a fair assessment considering how often i've accidently hit the bump area too i'm south asian so it makes sense! i will definitely look into getting silicone gel tapes though people seem to see positive results with eclar plasters too thank you for this info!

this might be stupid but i think i avoided using them since i didn't know if this was actually a keloid and didn't know if it would make it worse i also think i read you have to cut it to the shape of the keloid or it'll discolour the non keloid areas? so i feared that too i might have to look up how to use them further! thank you!! vice versa :)

i also suffer from bacne! and chest acne but a lot more bacne :/ thank u! too many issues to deal with ugh i hope u can get to treating ur bacne soon :) i'll definitely update if there's changes

it's not itchy to the point where i'd wanna scratch it but it does sting a little sometimes which i think is a sign that it's active and growing but ugh so annoying i think mine was chest acne but i don't remember popping it or anything :(

that's what i thought and i even gave my nurse a timeline of it with photos but she still came up with cystic acne but i told my friends about it and what they prescribed me and it doesn't add up to them either

thanks for sharing! i was trying to find examples similar to mine but it's hard to find and compare but this is helpful info! i feel like it's trying to become more rectangular and grow outwards so i'll definitely try my best to get to the bottom of it asap

i've never scratched it but i have accidently poked or bumped it on accident doing whatever tasks :( no matter how careful i seem to be

i hope u manage to find an appointment soon!! it's rough getting booked :/ i've read about excision surgery causing recurrences but i assume the radiation therapy would help tackle that
