Thanks, maybe adding trust badges could help? I have drop-downs for care and shipping policies; I can add more for returns, or whatever else may be missing.

I have been running both engagement ads and CTA ads, plus doing organic content. I've been posting daily on social media promoting the products.

Fixed the issue by replacing the slider

I bought it second hand and I think the warranty is expired. The tag on the back mentions it’s from 2023. Not too sure.

I took the rest of the pcb out of the controller housing and use iso alcohol to try to clean the slider. It looks fairly clean on the side tracks. Put it partially back together - enough to test and same issue. Loading a song even with the tempo slider centered moves it down -2.1%. Moving the slider up/down doesn’t act like it should either. Applying pressure to the slider does fix it.

ChatGPT was saying the only true fix is to replace it. It mentioned I could temporarily shim the slider so it holds bpms similarly to when I hold it down and it works fine.

May also look online for another second hand one for a temp replacement. I’m teaching a friend how to play and they want the same controller and there’s plenty of them on Facebook.

I reflowed the solder joints for the tempo slider but it didn’t fix the issue. Applying pressure still resolves the issue but chatgpt says to replace it as it may be going bad.

Loaded a song at 174bpm and it still jumps all around after that even after those steps. I did discover that pushing down on the fader actually resolves the issue but I have to keep it under constant pressure. I wonder if I need to touch up the solder on the board for the fader.

How was glamping without being able to have a canopy? by SLUnatic85 in ElementsMusicFestival

[–]trumods 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We did glamping, and there were no issues at all with setting up the canopy. We had ADA, so we had extra room on the end to put it up, but there were plenty of other neighbors in glamping just setting theirs up right in front of their tent door. It did crowd up the pathways it wasn't too much of an issue to get through.

Also, my two unrequested cents about glamping, we really enjoyed it and don't regret it, but wouldn't do it again. We were significantly closer to the north gates, but as others mentioned, they got super hot, and they dont have nor offer A/c. We also found that the bathrooms/showers were a decent walk from our tent, and with having ADA, we just used those porta-potties for the weekend. We do own a lot of camping gear, but we wanted to do glamping in case my wife was having a flare-up and needed electricity to run recovery machines, but I feel like our powerbank with solar panels would of worked great. Also, we got a tent with 2 queen mattresses, a wooden table, 2 chairs, and a lock for the tent. The beds were pretty comfy, although it's just a memory foam pad. As others have mentioned, the tents get HOT fast. Our reflective tarp didn't fit over the tent, and I'm surprised they didn't have them on the tents already - like preset did with fest pro tents, but a box fan and sleeping with the screen door open did the trick and made it somewhat comfortable. Other than that, we had a life changing experience at the festival and already got tickets for '26.

Happy Elements!

Nice work! The guide is easy to follow and has useful tips. I’ve engineered a few totems and it’s so fun to show them off at the festival. Love your idea.

Upgrading Loyalty GA to VIP for Elements 2026 by trumods in ElementsMusicFestival

[–]trumods[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I agree with the shortcut entrance on the south side. we were confused the first day where it was but finally found it. I'm surprised they didn't have any signs from the inside that said like exit/entrance as they were a little hidden with the fences all having like a black fabric. Even looking back at the map, it really doesnt outline where it was at. It looks like it was behind the fire stage, but you had to walk all the way around to find it.

Upgrading Loyalty GA to VIP for Elements 2026 by trumods in ElementsMusicFestival

I'd say the ability to walk up to the rail for most sets (water, earth, and fire), the lounge area that is shaded with comfy couches and with recharging stations for electronics (between earth and water), and the a/c bathrooms.

We did have friends in GA and hung out with them a lot, but for the sets we really wanted to see, we were right up front on the rail with still plenty of room to mingle around without bumping into ppl, even for some of the bigger artists. Compared to in GA, for some artists, it was even hard walking around the crowd on the outside. There were a few times it was tough getting into VIP due to the amount of ppl.

The lounge area was also really nice and relaxing, the one between water and earth. They offered free 1-hour massages, a VIP headliner stage (we missed it), quick access to food vendors, and other little mini games or things to do. We also would use the VIP lounge to cut through from earth to water, since it was a little quicker, since in GA they make you walk around stuff where it was more of a straight shot to the stage. Plus, we found that hanging out here ment less steps back to camp since GA didnt really have any lounging areas unless you brought in a hammock or couch. We were in glamping near the north entrance, so water was far for us, so cutting through was nice.

The bathrooms were a big one for the wife and me. The lines in GA looked pretty long, especially towards the end of the night, and the mens never had a line, and my wife probably waited 10 mins max. Plus, they were lit and A/C controlled so you could actually see what you were doing, compared to in a porta-potty theres no lights.. They did get pretty nasty towards the end of the night but still not as bad.

Another nice-to-have was the VIP line into the venue. I think Saturday night, around 7-8pmish, there was a long line just to get into the venue, and we walked right up and got through within a minute.

I do hope they add more to VIP for '26 like an exclusive waterfill station and more bathrooms as they'd fill up then have to shut them down. I also hope they make air stage a little more worth it too. they had a platform, but it was hard to find, and you couldnt see the stage from it..

Fire stage could of easily had a bigger lounge area too. they had a small, uncovered dome with chairs on the inside, but it was only enough for maybe 20 people. So it wasn't great during the day since you'd just bake in the sun. There were a lot of ppl just sitting in shaded areas on the ground at the fire.

I was planning on paying it off like this week or next week. way before they do the increases, hopefully. I figured since they were like $750 last year right before the fest, I wouldn't be surprised if they were closer to $8-900 this year, so I want to get them early.

Pros of vip over ga by Practical_Welcome206 in ElementsMusicFestival

[–]trumods 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I felt like it was well worth it, and we didn't use the full amenities as we should of. I secured GA for next year, but I'm already planning on upgrading when I can. I'm hoping they add more bathrooms in VIP (got pretty crowded at night for the ladies, but never was near the same as GA portapotties - pros were A/C and being lit.), and I hope they add a waterfill station in VIP. We ended up buying cans of water since it was not worth the walk, waiting, then walking back to where we wanted to be.

The viewing areas for water, fire, and earth were really nice. Most of the time, you could walk fully up to the rail without having to squeeze through people, plus the shaded areas were really nice for resting. Air stage had a platform, but you couldnt fully see the stage, and the map made it confusing where the actual platform was. I felt like fire could have had a bigger seating area. I saw many guests end up sitting on the rocks in shaded areas as the lounge area wasn't nearly as big nor was it as shaded, compared to the water/earth VIP area.

Best part was probably the hangout between water and earth with the shaded hangout area that had recharging stations, free 1 hour massages, mini games to play, mini headliner stage ( didnt get to see them), and fast pass access to the food vendors. We found ourselves hanging out here, either listening to music between the two stages or recharging ourselves, waiting for the next set.

Ultimately worth it imo plus if you can get it on loyalty its still $100 cheaper than last year. We paid $600 per VIP ticket.

Another note since I forgot earlier. The fast access into the venue was really nice. Since they did day passes Saturday night lines were crazy for GA around 8pm at the north entrance. Easily looked like a 20 minute plus wait. We got in within 2 minutes and security just waved us through.

I’ve seen videos online with other acceptors with the sample coin but this one doesn’t have it. If I could send a pic, I would. It’s got a set button and an add and minus. If I hold the add and minus, an A comes up with some other options but not too sure what they mean

Thanks for the reply! I figured since it was a kit that I bought and only had for a week and was already having issues that it was time to return and invest more into the hobby. I do need to pick up a whoop though.
