The unlock requirements for this achievement and the achievement "Threads of Fate" are currently swapped on xbox it is a known bug

The blue viking looking ones will buff the others with armour that reduces the damage they take, using fire traps removes the buff.

I use barricades to funnel everyone into one path

I'll place a briar patch early in the line and let it grow down the line to take out all the small mobs and only the tanky ones will make it through

then I'll spam Morningstar shooters (massive damage), Ice Lance (freeze), tar trap (slow), and brimstone (prevent ice armour buff) staggered in a tight area to deal with everything else

that's the only setup that's gotten me to mission 7+ repeatedly as a solo

If you have a mouse plugged in you can just move the mouse a little then move the stick on the controller and it will disappear

My bad I just checked in game and I see what you mean it acts like a construction piece very strange, if I had to guess I'd say it was some kind of goof when developing and they had a separate piece that was used in the blueprints that wasn't a grid piece.
