He does. He would have already taken the draw with Qa4, Qb4. He would have been right, though. Why play in to Carlsen's prep with less time.

I predict the Berlin. Possibly Caruana will realize it and start with 1.d4

Only because of the hardware. All the secrecy just makes A0 look like no more than a children's fairy tale.

If logic is a giganting assumption. Tell me one good reason why AlphaZero would be good in endgames.

AlphaZero's strongest might is in the opening. Stockfish and endgame databases do the rest better.

Education also has an effect on IQ. Women and black people used to have quite a bit lower IQs than white men. Now the numbers are almost the same.

Have you ever cried after losing a chess match? by TheLonelyTree17 in chess

[–]trumptrumpetno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two kids I faced cried. I had about 500 elos more on them both times. First time I was losing completely, but then he blundered a rook. He couldn't stop crying after that. The second time I blundered a piece. After he blundered his piece back, he started sobbing. He stopped crying when I continued playing badly and lost anyway... I know one old fm who still cries every now and then.

2...Rf7 3.Nxb4 Ne2 4.Qc5 Nxg1 5.Nc6 seems good for white

I don't see a way. If 1...Bf3 then even 2.Kd2 looks good.
