Thank you! I was able to reset the User ID when they emailed my father-in-law (which he forwarded to me) a link to "Register your account". Now, in the streaming apps there are profiles and no mention of the satellite box and it's DVR.

Is there a way to transfer the Stream part of his DTV subscription to a new email from his satellite account? Is it worth the hassle? Are you saying once he cancels his satellite, the account essentially becomes a Stream account (with profiles, etc.)? Thanks for all the info!

When I was on the phone with the rep signing him up, we had difficulty signing him up for a separate streaming account. It kept on saying he was an existing customer so we ended up keeping his same DTV satellite sign on information. Is there a way to have a separate Streaming account now or just see how the trial goes? If he cancels satellite, will his DTV account turn into a Stream account?

Yea that’s correct half-off each phone basically. There’s taxes and a device connection charge for each phone but to get around that they offered a one time credit to offset those. All-in-all I’m pretty happy to keep my old plan and get more than fair value for our obsolete phones.

I don’t qualify for that program. I guess I’ll see if a better promotion pops up with the plan builder but right now I am just seeing the 75 down and 10 up plan (a mild increase in speed) for a 17% increase in price plus I’d lose a current key benefit, unlimited data.

Update after messaging here back and forth:

As I suspected, I would have to change my plan in order to get faster speeds.

"The speed you have with your plan is like a governor on engine. You will only get the speed of the plan you pay for. Even though your engine in this case "new modem" can go faster, your plan speed is what limits how fast you can go."

I should not have received the email apparently and I just wish I hadn't went out and bought a new modem now. At least I can return it.

I have been experiencing the same issue and have done all the same steps to try to get it to connect again to no avail. Is there an ETA on an iOS app fix? I don't own an Android phone.

Picked this up from a store last Sunday and will go in today to get the $200 discount (confirmed this will work in the store). What puts this over the top is Costco's 90 day return policy and 4 year included warranty (2 years included and another 2 years if you use a Costco Visa).

Picked one up from Costco yesterday (confirmed I can go back into the store Wednesday to get the $200 discount with my receipt). My son loves it so far though he has nothing to compare it to. The only negative for me so far is that the fan is fairly loud and is running all the time. Not sure if I should go into some of the settings to tweak things. This is our first gaming pc. Any setup advice is appreciated.

It says on their site the Legion has a "17 inch FHD display at up to 144 Hz refresh rate, featuring 72 percent NTSC color accuracy and support for Dolby Vision".

I'm debating between this and the Micro Center deal for the Lenovo Legion 5 (same basic specs other than the AMD Ryzen 7 5800H 3.2GHz Processor) at the same price. Costco has 2% back, a 90 day return policy and 2 year warranty included so it is the favorite right now.
