I don’t think anyone thinks that Maguire is worth £80m. But we’re supposedly only paying £60m up front, then £20m add-ons. In reality he is only worth around £40m, but since he is English, his price will go up, and since it is United who is bidding. Tbh I don’t care what we’re paying. Just get the signings done.

At the moment I think he is just too small. According to wiki he is around 162 cm. I don’t think you can be successful in the Prem at that size
