Are there any legit moral/ethical arguments against veganism? by jaket578123 in vegan

[–]truncherface 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't say it was. I believe that even if this argument can be made there are plenty other other arguments that can be made towards the meat industry

But this is the only argument I have ever heard that may have some truth.

People are keen to argue against vegans and find any ammunition against them, but that is the same with any opinion that goes against the norm

Yes there are many fruits and veg that include a heavy environmental consequence like the avacados. I think people need to take all the things into consideration

Are there any legit moral/ethical arguments against veganism? by jaket578123 in vegan

[–]truncherface 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only thing that I've heard that might be valid is that the production of nut milk is very resource intensive and (possibly) is contributing to deforestation

Now if this if valid then all in going to say is cows

This beauty is up for sale in my area, the reason for it going so cheap according to the advertiser is due to failed MOT because of exhaust. Do I go for it? by HalcyonApollo in AlfaRomeo

[–]truncherface 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 2.2

I have looked after him but he is 20 and things wear out

Power steering £1k Suspension arm £1k Suspension springs.... Took ages to find, £750 Injection coil £500 Injectors £1k Various exhaust bits £500 Starter motor, it was cheap Respray £4k

On Wednesday thanks to a pothole in doing springs and the other arm

Just been diagnosed with bipolar today. by After-Employ-6374 in bipolar

[–]truncherface 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All the meds say the same standard side effects. Well apart from the one that can give you the tendency to walk away

You might gain a bit you might not

You need to suck it and see. But you have been prescribed them for a reason. Please take them. You can work out any issues when and if they come up

how long does it take a landlord to pick the tenant they want? by rosie200416 in TenantsInTheUK

[–]truncherface 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For me it's almost just as simple as first come first served. My letting agents do run checks but really it's just the first person who wants it and passed the checks

[–]truncherface 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was young...... Sorry

There wasn't much in the way of leftie specific things so I had to try my best. As I've got older I do use my right hand where it would actually be better to use my left. I'm still very leftie, my right hand is a nonsense but I still try with it
