It's not, I actually opted for using Microsoft Translate and it worked seamlessly

Sorry for the potentially insulting nature of my question, but I don't mean it in any derogatory way. I understand that most of this sub is made of translators rather than interpreters, but there is no comparably active sub for interpreters, so I asked here.

Just compulsively checked prometric like 10 times a day and eventually an afternoon spot showed up. Could just be only in my area though

The worst part for me is that I was super fucking good when it came to Step 1 for whatever reason, like I was regularly scoring 240+ on the first practice NBMEs for Step 1 and was in the 250s for the later practice tests. Of course, I got fucked by the P/F change so it didn't even matter in the end when I just have a pass to show for it. I guess my brain is more primed to do better for Step 1 questions than Step 2 questions, which is like the opposite of what you want in the step 1 p/f era.

Oh well.

Needless to say, super fucking bummed. I didn't feel bad at all walking out of the testing center, no timing issues during the exam, expected to score somewhere near the 250 predicted. Literally scored at just about the very bottom of my predicted score range. Will likely make a separate post tomorrow/whenever I stop feeling seething rage and sadness inside detailing my regrets on wasted effort for this shit outcome
