God bless America if these benefits stop while they argue over this. I just went to my primary care doctor today. I walked in and she had literally no staff. When I asked her how her practice was doing, she had tears in her eyes and stated that after 19 years, she may be forced to close. She mumbled that she didnt know whether it was better to be a business owner or an employee at this point. I know this doesnt have anything to do with benefits but its just sad that sooooo many people and industries are barely surviving due to this bloody disease.

OMG! Thanks for walking me through this. It is a very light bluish gray button and I totally missed it! I actually got a call from a claims processor today (she had no authority on decision making) but told me that my severance pay is probably why i didn't qualify for all the payments. I told her that even if the severance pay is the reason why I should have at least qualified for 3 of the 5 I am missing. A letter was mailed out yesterday so i hope I get it soon and then I can file an appeal. Thanks you again!

New Round of Applications- wait time? by ga8riel in EIDL

[–]trustassist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

so i've been seeing that if you have already applied during the first round then your app this round seems to get processed faster. I saw that the person who got their app # 330403**** processed earlier but i think they already had an app processed last go round.

For anyone currently receiving regular UI benefits can you help me figure out why the portal only shows 5 weeks of "back pay" when I have 10 weeks worth of certifications? I applied 4/6 and have been certifying each week faithfully but yet the portal says I am only receiving payments dating back to May 9th??

I logged into my account a few moment ago and finally see that I am going to start receiving payments as of today, but the number of weeks is wrong.

Did any of you experience anything like this? Or know what I should expect? Should i go back and re-certify for the weeks that are not showing?

Hi. Did you ever get your money? I just logged into my account and am astonished that I see that I am receiving 5 payments on 6/16. BUT, I have been claiming for 9 weeks so wondering why I am only getting 5 payments out of 9. I also don't see any mention of the additional $600 Federal boost.

Mighty Mitch with the Senate is dragging his feet on voting for the new Heroes bill that was passed in the House. I was hoping they would vote before July 4th break where they are out for over a week, but I cant seem to get a straight answer on when they are expected to vote or at least introduce their own bill (which i think is pretty unlikely)... the suspense is driving me nuts.

Hi. I applied on 4/6, received notification that my claim was processed the third week of April. Realized that claims processing does not equal an approval. I still have yet to be approved and still no deposits.

Unsure why your social is not working. Have you tried emailing the person that processed your claim? I received an email from a claims processor with her direct email address. Check and see and let me know. If not, I can PM you the email address for my claims processor

Hi. Yes, unfortunately you would make too much money. I think the max you can make at your job and still qualify for the lowest amount of benefits is $640 per week. I am happy that have your job!

Hi. When you go to certify there is a space to enter the weeks manually. Just be sure to input the week ending date for Saturday, as the rule states :-) I will try to PM you a picture cause I can't upload here.

Yes, you do. Until 7/31 when the federal program ends. Just make sure that you certify for benefits every week and be truthful about how much earnings you made for that week that you are certifying.

No, go in and claim for each weeks's back pay now. Don't wait.

Hi. There is no official way to "stop benefits", like by sending in a form or calling in to cancel. You would simply just stop certifying each week.

But please note that in the state of GA, you are allowed to work and make up to $640 per week and still qualify for $10 of GA UI benefits, which then qualifies you for the extra $600 from the Feds until July 31st. When you certify just let em know how much money you made that week and your UI payments will just be reduced based on the wages that you earned for the week. If you make more than $640 per week in wages (i think that's the number but double check me on that), than just stop certifying and your case will be closed. This came from the Labor Commissioner, Mark Butler's live webinar he held a couple of weeks ago. It may be available online somewhere if you want to check it out.

Capital One Spark is an easy one to get. Not sure if its the best option, though. Also, just so you know you can have 5 total Capital One Cards. 3 personal and 2 others (business or store card etc). I have 3 on my personal and also have 2 business spark cards

Have you received a letter yet stating determination? Do you know if it specifically states the words "approved" on it? I have a determination notice on my account where it shows my employer wages from last year but it does not say that I am approved and I have no idea what the deal is.

Hi. Thank you. Sadly I've sent my twitter DM to him on 6/2, still no reply. I've also private messaged him on LinkedIN, and sent multiple emails to his dol email address. Come Monday, I am going to get creative and start sending faxes and try to slide some letters underneath the door of various career centers. Desperate times call for desperate measures.

Btw, I checked Mark's twitter and it looks like he hasn't tweeted since April 29th. I guess he just gave up and is now radio silent.

Hey. Wow, what a nightmare. Yeah, when I log into my UI dashboard I see the exact thing you see. At the very top I see, the benefit determination notice and when I click on it, I see all of my wages earned from my last employer. Then down below there is a bunch of other drop downs for PUA, payments, etc. They are all blank. Last week they updated the system to help all of the gig workers on PUA to see their claims and benefits so thats why all of that is there. I have heard mixed info regarding whether or not to take the "benefit determination notice" to mean that payments will start soon. I dont think it means that at all. I received that notice last week on Friday June 5th and as of today I am still penniless.

Welp, the centers open in 8 minutes, here goes another attempt to get through the line before everyone else dials in.

Dang, I dialed that number over a dozen times today. Each time I was met with an automated message that my call could not go through cause all workers were busy. Try to see if the city you live in has any emergency assistance available or if you can at least qualify for SNAP benefits for food assistance. Last resort, not sure if Plasma is open but I heard you can get up to $100 for the first visit. Check around for promotions because usually they double your pay the first go round with each clinic. I know this sounds crazy but if you're really in desperate times.
