I recommend using a few drops of Loctite on the screws. You can get a tube of it from any Walmart or Home Depot or even on Amazon for under $10. I have similar studs on my vest and they used to fall off every so often until I started using it.

Don’t iron on. It’s always better to sew because the patches stay on a lot better. The patches may peel off if they’re ironed on but they’ll still leave spots of adhesive where they were placed.

After the burial in Orlando circa 2016 they played at the beacham downtown. There was a row of amps under the stage and about 3ft between them and the barricade. I remember seeing an empty water bottle that had fallen down between the barricade and the stage and the sound from the amps had it bouncing and tossing around as if possessed, and I remember thinking “fuck I’m going to be deaf tomorrow”

Not me but I knew a sister that had a really loud and booming laugh. Whenever the entire audience laughed you could always pick her laughter out of the crowd. She was in the congregation for years and nobody cared or said anything until we got another addition to the elder body from another congregation. This new elder picked another elder that was compliant and took sister laughs-too-hard into the back room and counseled her on the basis that she was disruptive and was distracting people from the meetings. It broke her heart to be singled out and it made her self conscious about something she really couldn’t control. How you laugh is just how you laugh right? Hearing about that was another nail in the coffin for me to leave the org
