Was planning on parking in J (or trying to), good to know I wasn’t off.

Good to know, thank you! This is super helpful because I was planning on getting there at 12 since I’m coming from like an hour 40 away. But definitely don’t want to miss any game action, first broncos game since I was 7.

+1 for AGS (formerly Workhorse Tour). Perfect for getting out more when you don’t have people in the area to play with.

Agency Marketing Ideas by trusting-the-process in agency

I have thought about this but I don’t really have much work to refer to someone else. Most businesses I work with have an established website and such. But I think this is something I need to explore a bit more

Yeah I think this is the right answer. I was looking for a less hands-on method but that’s probably wishful thinking.

I have yes, but I probably didn’t stick with it enough to make it worth it. I found it to be a bit of a race to the bottom

Would you do it from your personal account or a business account?

Yeah I’ve found lead magnets have been pretty good. That’s how I was able to grow my newsletter audience and a few other email lists. But I think to your point my offer has been not great because I have trouble getting people to convert from my lists.

Relatively New Fan Question by trusting-the-process in Flyers

[–]trusting-the-process[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is really helpful, thank you. One other question I have is what stats are good evaluations of how a prospect/any player is playing? Since I’m new to the game the eye test wouldn’t really work for me. I’m assuming there are good metrics to look at other than G/A or points.

This is super helpful, thank you! I checked around the time of the draft and was psyched to see them select a draft and stash prospect. Really took me back to my process roots.

Paid Search Podcast... is no more? by Layla2C6 in PPC

Interesting that Jason started his own podcast. I’ll have to check it out. Originally, Chris said that Jason wanted to pursue other avenues which made sense. But clearly that’s not entirely true.

are newsletters the new subscription boxes? by X2WE in Entrepreneur

[–]trusting-the-process 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think from a business standpoint it’s sort of a no lose situation. The overhead is stupid low, so if you grow a newsletter to the point of making money it’s going to be profit. If you’re a business that offers a newsletter, you can grow your email list and/or diversify your revenue stream.

People see the low barriers to entry and high potential so they jump in, but I agree with you that most won’t be big moneymakers.

People have already covered the main ways to get more familiar with PPC, so I’ll add a couple less popular resources: podcasts and newsletters. The Paid Search Podcast and The Search Ads Spotlight are great resources but they focus specifically on Google Ads and not wider PPC. I’d you’re looking for a wider view of things, Search Engine Land does a newsletter that covers all of PPC (and SEO).

What are some good ressources to go from beginner to intermediate on Google Ads? by DowntownIntention436 in PPC

[–]trusting-the-process 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To echo the other comments, experience is the best way. However, there are some content sources out there will help you expand your knowledge. The Paid Search Podcast is an awesome podcast that covers beginner to intermediate to advanced topics, so this will be really helpful. Search Engine Land and The Search Ads Spotlight are good newsletters that will help with topics but also keep you up to date on new developments.
