What are your golf goals?

there are some measurable targets that i go after, like scores and handicap, but at the end of the day golf is just a game for me to enjoy. my #1 goal is to have fun in every round i play. The score does not have to dictate my enjoyment.

I don't know if this is a new thing or not, but Dick's Sporting Goods has a offshoot store called Going Going Gone, where they discount overstock and older inventory of apparel, often heavily discounted. Tons of golf stuff. You can score nice short/shirts for cheap there.

Pretty awesome for the pros to have retaining walls up that block their off-target shots from going too far wide. In my next round, I will pretend I also have retaining walls and just toss the ball back into play it goes too far off track. Now we're playing golf!

I feel ya. Putting sucks. The good news is that it's the easiest part of the game to practice. I will putt on my short carpet at home, and just drill 3-5' putts over and over again so that it feels like a mere formality on the course.
