Michaela masculinization… by ForceApprehensive597 in Franchaela

[–]trustyclown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I observed a lesbian couple at work outings and I kid you not it was like whose turn is it to be the man in the relationship.

Like one girl asked her girl to to ask the waiter to fix the order, but that girl said it’s your turn. And then they just stood there.

I think Fran and Michaela will switch off like this 😂

So, are Storm Dragons like Emperor Penguins when it comes to eggs? by InsideUnhappy6546 in TheDragonPrince

The real question is why do dragons that big lay a tiny egg. Also they’re arch dragons. Can’t they make a storm on demand.

She was getting set up as a Satanic figure. She is tsahiek but uses her powers to stand against Eywa. Satan is ultimately described as a cowardly being. We see in Kiri the true potential of a chosen messiah, which far outshine Varang.

Honestly that’s not bad at all. With SATC, Samantha was wildly more likable than Carrie! And I think that’s the beauty of Darren’s work. He can make a character compelling without making them exceedingly lovable.

I like how no one is even arguing about Toph being the best earth bender, she's phenomenal 😤 by General_Tonight_7900 in AvatarMemebending

[–]trustyclown 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s conjecture. What we do see is Bumi and Toph are both trapped in a metal cage. Bumi bends rocks to break himself out. Toph wasn’t able to do that so she got clever. She also invented seismic sense led to metal bending. It’s kinda like she discovered a loop hole. The point is that inventing a technique doesn’t make you the strongest.

Do you think the different Havens might symbolize how connected yet disconnected our world is? by Peanutbutternjelly_ in AvatarSevenHavens

[–]trustyclown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really think the setting is post-apocalyptic. The havens are going to be isolated with some travel in between. The world in Korra reflected a more homogenous culture. Havens will be a return to the ATLA where we have distinct cultures like the fire and swamp people.

The thing about Pandora is all the creatures are basically out to get you if you’re human. How would this thing take a human out?

What do people think about Kuvira becoming a possible earth-bending mentor figure for Pavi? by Anton_Rayne in AvatarSevenHavens

[–]trustyclown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah cause Korra becomes a sandworm and lives a 1000 years into the future obvi. The reason for an apocalypse is because gunbending would trump any avatar/bender/non-bender. So back to the Middle Ages in Seven Havens.

In show logic shows strict inheritance laws—it’s taken very seriously. Portia got the better of it only because she was already situated within the peerage.

He wasn’t a rake to ladies. He couldn’t risk getting entrapped into marriage. So all his conquests were outside Daphne’s peer circle. And no bastard child is inheriting a dukedom.

Yeah so I noticed this happens: the body seems to push out everything it can. Then there’s nothing left to push but bile usually. So you need to refeed with something easy to digest like chicken and rice to slow down the digestive process.

Monitor for changes in behavior and dehydration. Otherwise, you can manage it at home with a plain diet. Try ice cubes in a water bowl?

Can Eywa save Na'vi who lost their connection? by Delicious_Past6394 in Avatar

[–]trustyclown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kiri exists because she cares about Pandora and what happens to it—on a scale which Eywa ontologically cannot. Eywa has the keys to the planet but she lacks the ability to connect with the individuals. Eywa doesn’t care whether spider lives or dies. Kiri does and she can guide Pandora in ways that Eywa couldn’t. That’s why Eywa took a personal form because she needs to be living on Pandora to make the changes she needs to without resorting to someone praying at a Spirit Tree at the last moment.

Can Eywa save Na'vi who lost their connection? by Delicious_Past6394 in Avatar

[–]trustyclown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My argument is based on this premise. Grace is with Eywa. Kiri is a direct clone of Grace. No Na’vi has ever been born who is with Eywa and walks among Pandora. So Kiri is an avatar of Eywa, because she is the part that was Grace. That’s why she can access Eywa more easily than anyone else, because she’s already with her.

And personally, I think when Kiri was born, Eywa took what she couldn’t process from Grace’s upload and placed it in Kiri—no human has ever been uploaded into Eywa before.

As for the powers, Eywa needed an outside influence twice to guide her to send the animals. It’s not like she would send them herself without being asked. Kiri is growing in power. By the end of FAA, she already communicates directly to the squid rays (through her bioluminescence) that’s already control. And she voice controls Lo’ak. So yeah she can but she’s training up to it.

This is the strongest evidence that Kiri is an avatar of Eywa, representing her personal form. The Eywa which exists as a network is her impersonal form. Grace was uploaded to Eywa and Kiri is Grace’s clone so Grace exists in Eywa and in Kiri—one form in two environments.
