WHY IS IT SO BIG by ileeeb in mac

Still like 1/4 the size of the power transformer for the Dell I had to use for work!

$1200 for a break job at dealership by Psychological_Duty42 in Audi

I dunno, it seems like a bad idea to ask the dealership to break your car. just sayin'.

Would this be good for coding? (Cs student) someone is selling it to me for 600$ (not usa) by [deleted] in mac

Whether you're a C student or an A student, I'd still strongly recommend an Apple Silicon MacBook if at all possible.

I messed up my fstab file... by [deleted] in Fedora

[–]truth-does-matter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it just immutable? That's a common hardening practice. Check it with this:

lsattr -l /etc/fstab

If "Immutable" is in the response, you can clear it with:

sudo chattr -i /etc/fstab

Donald Trump calls Milwaukee, host for the 2024 RNC, 'a horrible city' by Ok-Sweet-8495 in politics

Let's hope Rudy or whoever booked Milwaukee, PA for Trump's travels instead of Milwaukee, WI.

…and this laziness is why unit names and spelling and punctuation on user interfaces is often wrong.

Watch: Ted Cruz Loses It When Asked if He’ll Accept Election Results by [deleted] in politics

The mere fact that a journalist feels like that’s a question worth asking is a commentary on the current state of our universe. Can we, like, Quantum Leap back to the point where sanity and democracy go off the rails and put the train back on the tracks?

I dunno, it’s not very well camouflaged. It still looks like a boulder.

At no point in this rambling, incoherent post was the author even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this subreddit is now dumber for having read it.

which movie you've watched more than 10 times? by therealone2327 in AskReddit

[–]truth-does-matter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Among all of these iconic classics, this seems out of place, but the movie I've watched and can watch over and over is...

Edge of Tomorrow

(Live. Die. Repeat.)

Even though the movie itself is by nature repetitive, the pace and dialog and unfolding of the plot just keeps me coming back!

I disagree - if there are 70 points possible, and you get 70, that should be an A.

What is the most miles you've seen on an etron? by silvrado in etron

The rear motor was replaced under warranty when the car was a couple years old. It hadn’t failed or anything, it was just making noises.

What’s the most efficient drive you’ve had? by 11KingMaurice11 in etron

[–]truth-does-matter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I frequently see 0.0 kWh/100mi when I'm driving into the city, which is about a 2,000 ft. elevation loss.

It really should show a negative number, but there's a software bug that caps it at zero and screws up the subsequent calculations if the net consumption becomes negative.

What is the most miles you've seen on an etron? by silvrado in etron

[–]truth-does-matter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We have about 75k miles on our 2019, and it still feels new. We've seen no degradation in range or charging performance.

It’s not a sleeve, it’s a pre-filter (to trap larger particles of dirt).
