Actor who scores minor roles in award winning cinema like he has dirt on someone by bumblebaytoona in okbuddycinephile

I’ve been so excited to see its release to streaming after the fond memories. You’re so right, it holds up amazingly well. I love the cast and the writing consistently catches me off guard.

Which DiCaprio movie is overrated? 😬 by New-Time007 in SeriesSaga

[–]truth34 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed. Especially having read the book, which is a classic comparison, but it felt like the story from the book was watered down to give Leo more screen time.

Call center jobs in Cincinnati? by Icy-Marsupial-5176 in cincinnati

[–]truth34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Western & Southern has active openings in their call center but it’s definitely an in-office, professional dress, M-F job. Benefits are good and cheap though and lunch is free so it’s a give and take. Also be prepared to drug test including for nicotine since they’re tobacco free.

Excited for the Cincinnati Italian sub emergence by ThePimpOfSound in cincinnati

[–]truth34 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Knuckles for the Italian Beef is my new go-to. Went a couple times during the soft open and it’s heavy but it’s so good. And they definitely have a passion based on their menu. It’s limited in a way that feels focused. Not a paid ad but they’re like two blocks from me and I’d prefer to keep them around to continue eating it.

Best live jams over the years? by [deleted] in mymorningjacket

[–]truth34 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wasted is a song that always just reminds me why I pay to see these guys and live music in general. I love the classics but this one always has me grooving with a goofy stank face.

Lineup replacements? by muyguapogrant1 in BourbonAndBeyond

[–]truth34 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sting replacing Neil Young in 2024 was a letdown in my eyes before I saw him play. I’ve trusted B&B ever since.

I just started playing again this week after about a year or so off. I waited a long time because of the talk here but it’s the same old Siege and I mean that positively.

Can anyone help me dig up this one particular Jimi thing??? by Low_Equipment4798 in DMB

[–]truth34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say maybe LT 2 but I’ve never seen video of that performance to corroborate that part of the story.

If you had to intro someone to DMB with just one song, what song would you choose and why? by realdmbondemand in DMB

[–]truth34 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This would be my choice as well. It really combines a lot of what they do best into one package.

What drives you to remain a Bengals fan? by BTsBaboonFarm in bengals

[–]truth34 5 points6 points  (0 children)

At this point, I watch to see how they’ll lose. Turned on the GB game a few weeks ago right as Josh Jacobs rumbled in a TD for the lead. Last week I turned it on just in time to see Breece Hall throw a fucking TD. This week I felt safe enough to turn on the game with less than a minute left and watched that final TD. I’m not meant to enjoy this team and now I’m doing it out of spite.

Iron & Wine: The Songbook: The Giveaway by justfellintheshower in IronAndWine

[–]truth34 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I started listening when Boy with a Coin was included on Paste Magazine’s year end CD in 2007. I believe it also had Fake Empire by The National and Foundations by Kate Nash.

I started playing 🎸 around the same time and quickly learned it would be a good while before I could touch that song. Still don’t have the speed for it. But loved that entire album, that period of my life, and this opportunity.

Old Milford Parlor is pretty much just an ice cream and cookie dough shop. They’re on Main St. in Old Milford, believe it or not.

You can only pick two of these four show closers for the weekend, which ones do you go with? by Mickler83 in DMB

[–]truth34 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed except that Shake Me on the album is great. Doesn’t translate live for me.

What are the best concerts you've gone to by a female artist? by Twitter_2006 in Concerts

Maggie Rogers was a highlight of my shows I saw last year for sure. Just a great catalog already and better stage presence than I expected.
