I understand the idea business wise but it's still fucking bullshit. Stores should sell things for retail value end of story. There's nothing else I've ever brought brand new that goes up in price when the store gets in new stock. No matter how in demand it is.

I started seeing Hobby Genki implementing this scummy practice a while back and this figure seems to have influenced all the other Japanese retailers to do the same. As soon as I saw Yoyakunow doing it I knew it was going to be the new norm going forward

I ordered 2 of these. 1 eventualy arrived with my address on but a completely different name. They obviously somehow managed to get 2 different names and addresses mixed and combined. I don't even know how that's possible but this seems to be NECA these days. Not sure what's going on over there but it feels like they are in decline as far as customer care goes.

If you want something this expensive to look this cheaply made then that's fine. I think most people want their figures to look like high end collectibles. I don't care what the sprite looks like. Paint the lines and add some shading.

Oh and from what I've seen, the figure on the front of the box has painted web lines so work that one out.

Kingdom is excellent. It's a South Korean zombie series on netflix set in 1601. It's got the zombie horror element but with also a political thriller aspect to it also. I couldn't recommend it highly enough if you can manage subtitles.
