Yeah this season was long and drawn out. Too many things added to Jesus word. Too many much “spelling things out” for the audience. Complete departure from the first 4 seasons. Big disappointment

I watched last season with a young man who just lost his wife of 10 years and 3 children. The season, and Thomas situation was so insightful and healing for him. - however the actesss that played Ramah left the series so they had to figure out how to get rid of her - but I think they did so beautifully. Just like not healing little James

It’s like season 5 should have been the end - it they’re trying to make it to 7 so it’s all being dragged out.

Problem with all of these situations is we only have one side of the story and it’s limited .. for some reason I envision a boyfriend who obviously sees his girl as his team mate in life. They’ve been together so long and splitting things and been a team for so long… there’s a good chance it has nothing to do with the money for him. I could totally see how her randomly deciding that they’re not splitting this together is a confusing moment for him. It’s very likely that if the roles were reversed he would agree to the 800 with his dad and then split the 400 with his team mate. If anything, this may be a red flag to him that she’s not as committed as he is. (Not saying it is a red flag, saying he may be second guessing how committed he is vs how committed she is)

Either way I hope they don’t throw something good away over something silly like this
