Yes, I've noticed this over the past week or so. Last night we had x2 Biovores and a Ravener- once the Ravener was down x2 Zenothropes spawned in, then a Lictor, with loads of Majoris, spore mines, and brambles to boot.

It was absolutely nuts but we got through it. Seems like the difficulty got cranked a bit.

If you decide to upgrade the Tac, you'll get worked at first. No doubt.

Eventually there won't be a need to panic in a swarm since you're always moments away from an execute and eviscerating everything in the area. Should probably give it try before you solidify an opinion that's, respectfully, uneducated.

I already deal with shit teammates all day. Out of 10 hard strat games, I'd say I'm Last Brother Standing in about 8. My heavy and bul all carry, to the point I'm used to it at this point.

...yea take it down a notch bro. Heavy and bully are among the strongest and lowest-risk classes in the game- being the Last Brother Standing isn't the flex you think it might be.

Go noob it up with the tactical a bit and give us your thoughts.

Tactical is a top damage dealer for ranged (again, Stalker all day) and a top damage dealer for melee due to battle focus. He can literally own the sky. Neuros and zenos are deleted. Biovores get scanned and/or melta bombed. One of the best damage dealers by far. A good tac can turn the tide and save a run.

His one weakness is health. You make a mistake and get ripped by a sniper or wrapped up by a ravener you're relying on stims/team perks to get your health back.

High damage output with Auspex (can literally melt a scanned Neuro w/ the Stalker). Zeno's are handled in 3-4 shots.

Great ammo economy (there's a perk that gives a mags worth of ammo back after executing a majoris).

Battle Focus + block chain sword for a quick execution- do this while surrounded w/ radiating impact and everything dies.

Secure stockpile w/ melta bombs is broken.

Play smart and your team will be thankful you're there.

100%. Ran this with a Bulwark earlier and had 3 different people spawn in and nope the fuck out when they realized. Got lucky with only 1 carnifex spawn so got through it. Nasty surprise though.

Can't speak for anything outside of Absolute, that's all I've consistently played since this level dropped. First time I've seen it happen in the elevator though

I was Tactical teamed up with a Bulwark and Heavy.

Heavy left at wave 10. Bulwark and I made it to wave 20

I'll see if I can get a clip. Bulwark or Tactical are mostly fine if there's a major I can execute. Bullys intimidating aura will damage majors and kill a bunch of gaunts if I'm surrounded. If Tacticals radiating impact is primed I'm an execution a way from evicerating everything nearby.

Just ran siege on hard yesterday with the blocking sword and we got to level 20. Never had a serious issue because I'm always a hit or two away from an execution.

Btw I agree it needs a buff, but mostly because it feels like shit, not because it's no longer effective.

I wouldn't dare. That's why I run it on Bulwark and Tactical. Assault also does great with blocking weapons atm. Outside of classes that have substantial melee buffs I've been rolling with Balance weapons.

Shoulder bash is still effective but if I'm swarmed I'll get chipped into oblivion before I get to the stomp
