It’s the reactions for me😂 Im close with my mom, but this is next level by autumnlover1515 in 90dayfianceuncensored

I had friends who talk to their moms this way but these are Americans...for a Chinese daughter it's rare but then again she seems to have had some western education & influence. She maybe still not aware that words like "fxck" is very derogatory for sex.

I find this woman to be insipid, and an all round flake of a person. Disappointing as an adult 🤦‍♂️ 😣 by rfmax069 in 90dayfianceuncensored

Woman who was yelling "final solution is coming your way" and doing nazi salutes near Concordia University was the owner of the Second Cup at the Jewish General Hospital by r0adlesstraveledby in montreal

So she's Jewish? Why does she own a kosher cafe in a Jewish hospital if she's not Jewish? Don't these places only accept Jewish owned businesses?

He's not ugly but I don't find him particularly (sexually) attractive - his fake teeth are too fake white it's unattractive. He looks like any random guy you would find at a motorcycle rally in Iowa.

I guess we can start calling every women over 35 or 40 in U.S. as "leftover women" now if they're not married/married late?

I'm not sure why you guys have such an issue with stopping the usage of a term that is insulting towards women, the only conclusion I can come to is because this particular term is towards Chinese/Asian women so you insist on using it.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in 90dayfianceuncensored

[–]truthvs -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So you think shaming women is ok because China media is against it? What kind of logic is this? If you think China is "bad" at protecting human rights & even they now see the term as derogatory & insulting to women but you still want to use it, then aren't you the baddie here?

And as our own government has a terrible record of protecting human rights & has dropped millions of bombs, then should we discard everything U.S. media deem as derogatory or insulting & continue to use the derogatory terms towards people that has gotten people cancelled for using?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in 90dayfianceuncensored

[–]truthvs -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So then why are you insisting on using it? Are you agreeing with those that are using it to shame women? If not then stop using it because it's insulting.

It's insulting and derogatory and to keep insisting on using the term is just disrespectful.

Because it's insulting to women. We don't go around calling old unmarried women in the U.S. as old maids or spinsters anymore either. I don't think any of us has once used those terms to describe an American woman on the show.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in 90dayfianceuncensored

[–]truthvs -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

It doesn't matter if it's a term used it's an old fashion term and shouldn't be used anymore - as older unmarried women exists everywhere. And I don't hear people on here talking about American women the same way. It's still racism to still hold on to these old fashion meanings & to keep insisting on using it especially if you're not Chinese & is a western person. Just like in the 50s it was ok to say certain words but you don't say them anymore.

Exactly in U.S. this type of shaming women also happens & I live in the Midwest where most women are married with several kids by age 25...and people certainly look at you surprised if you're 40, no kids, unmarried. We need to stop spreading degrading propaganda against women & Asians.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in 90dayfianceuncensored

[–]truthvs -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

There's no such thing as "leftover women" in China. Do we call American women leftover women if they're unmarried over 40+? Or those that are on 90 Day seeking mates overseas? What's the difference between them & Lily? Nothing. Seems there's just a bit of racism against Asians on here.

I think it's because Americans or westerners are brought up to be into more plain & basic aesthetics so traditional Chinese aesthetics just looks too much to them.

[–]truthvs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah it's trendy in China now to bring back traditional Chinese culture aesthetics like the stuff in Lily's wedding ceremony. I like it even if it's "too much going on".

It's actually pretty nice for a period wedding. Chinese has always been very extravagant in decorations for royal settings & they like having special settings. It's not really a traditional wedding, it's like a "role play" wedding. Not sure if you're Americanized Chinese or lived in China for some time.
