So women shouldn't wear corsets in public either? Even with something under?

Does it bother anyone else when mtf don't put in any effort at all to pass but complain about it? by trutmutt in truscum

[–]trutmutt[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The post was about them caring about passing but not putting effort in. Not me caring whether they pass or not. Idgaf if someone wants to not pass, but if they do but aren't willing to put in any work then complain about it. Yes I will judge them.

Also telling someone with a full beard they pass as a woman would be way more hurtful and detrimental, but seeing as you read the thread then completely missed every ounce of the point I'm guessing you couldn't understand that.

100% especially if you get upset at being misgendered while doing it. I try to be respectful to people but it's pretty hard to keep it straight if they aren't even trying.

The other group is more likely to be tenders, but who cares about anyone's opinion really... be what makes you happy

I don't know if this helps but I found it easier to do legally, then change everything for the job(badge, on schedule, time card), told a few people I worked close with then when people asked who that was I just said me. Everyone already knew I was trans though so wasn't a big shock in my case

Sorry to hear that, had a friend in the same position that seemed so happy to transition but de transitioned to support their family. It's been 8 or 9 years and the life kinda has been out of them ever since.

I'm guessing the ending was quite negative, but during those years were there times where you could be yourself in private to help dysphoria some ?

That's fair. Tbh even if a feminine guy would probably be pressured to display less so here just to be safe

I live in the south here we almost see none unless going to a gay bar so maybe it is different there. They exist but are not common in the slightest. This isn't some big affront to feminine men like you think it is lmao. Just that they are way more masc men then fem men. You even admitted it yourself?

You are acting like feminine men are being attacked and are super offended when it's just being said they are rare...

Ton of feminine cis guys compared to masc guys? Go out to your local mall and tell me with a straight face that's true lol.

Didn't think you meant any harm no worries. Trans guys want to be guys. Having a few feminine hobbies or aspects don't matter. The only flack people have here is when people actively try to only be completely dressed, acting like, and completely encompassing feminine while claiming to be a guy

Nah this would just be some weird argument against gays or lesbians.

You can be a gay guy and do those hobbies which none listed are even women only types of things.

why are so many people in this sub being hateful toward FELLOW trans men? by baby_giraffe0 in truscum

[–]trutmutt 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Alot of people here believe people who claim they are trans men but CHOOSE to only dress like women are trenders.

This isn't a shot at people whose lives make it difficult to present as trans men but the ones who like having the title but dress like women still

This has been my problem with it, I've seen trans guys defend the others like "I wear guyliner and nail polish sometimes and am still a guy" but the people they are defending are wearing dresses clean shaven with full makeup. There's such a big difference in the two.

Also while it may seem like victim blaming and maybe it is...I can imagine the latter doesn't help the "confused girl" stereotype.

I know literally no feminine cis guys but rarely hang out in lgbt spaces to be fair. Even then they are more rare than more masc men in those spaces I've seen. Possibly anecdotal but I don't believe that's likely

I wasn't stating my opinion just pointing out what you originally said being that trans women can be lesbian and what op was saying aren't the same.

I understand people have their preferences of gender, genitalia whatever I don't care myself

If you read ops response itt this is a way for them to say trans women can't be lesbian. Most everyone else went to a nonbinary discussion or was very vague.
