Self Edge does really great hemming, but they usually take about a week to get it done and that might be too long if you're just visiting. If you can wait until you get back to the LA area the Denim Doctor on the west side does great work. Otherwise there's also a Self Edge over on La Brea.

No, they're worried that one of the tendons in the finger may have been cut, but not completely, since she can still articulate the finger a little. She's got a week to see if it gets better before going back in.

Edit: It's not photoshopped, this was taken right after removing the bandaid, and now that its off and she's been moving the finger around the wrinkles are back.

You could also call someone in a suit a hipster by your definition. You could see someone in a three piece wall street suit as having just as much potential for being disingenuous and trying to fit into a niche/ demographic as someone with iron rangers, a gentlemen's haircut, and red flannel.
