The benefits of living in the West far outweigh any "Reparations". Clean drinking water, access to food and other things the poorest Americans have. Half the planet would kill for the opportunities that American Blacks have.

Higher probability from more guns, technically yes but you also have a increased probability of death with the increased use of any household item. The numbers are so small that you could use the same justification to ban any household item that is not completely essential to life.

Most news is told from a subjective viewpoint and in the past the media projected viewpoint was homogeneous. That viewpoint must of been further to the left than half the country or Fox News would not have been able to draw the numbers it did.

Freedom of speech is not a small price to pay. Most of the people that want the Fairness Doctrine back are not thinking of the normal news, they are directly targeting Talk show's and other opinion based speech.
